Chicken Pox

Javier contracted chicken pox two saturdays ago.  He had fever on Friday and he complained that his body was itchy.  My mum said that it’s chicken pox.  I’m not quite sure as I have not got it before.

The first few days, I would have to scratch his back him during day or even night time.  I’ve became zombie during those days.  On one hand is him, and the other is Jayden.  Jayden waits up for milk about twice a night.  The best part was that both of them woke up at different timings.

Poor Javier! He is already so skinny and with this chicken pox thingy, he further reduced in his weight.  You can feel his bone when he sat on your thigh.  you see his ribs so clearly when he bares his upper body.  The only ‘big’ part of him is his head.  I can’t imagine how his tiny neck supports his big head.

The doctor said that the chicken pox might pass to those who didn’t get it.  So we will see who’s the next one after this Friday.

Javier’s Birthday

My mum had asked one of her friends to bake a cake for Javier and he cut it on his actual day at the Karaoke.  Not exactly a celebration for him but he was very happy.  A contented boy!

Swimming @ CSC

My Dad and I brought the 3 kids for swimming on Good Friday.  At first, Jayden was terrified when I put him in the water.  Of course, there was a float to support him but I guess the water was abit cold for him.

After splashing water on him and pushing him around the pool, he got used of the water temperature and started to kick and move around.  He also happily splashing the water.

Although it’s only an hour or so, the kids enjoyed very much.  After the swim, we went to West Mall to grab some food before we headed home.

Haircut on 3/1/09

A haircut before school reopens!

Javier used to be alright for haircut but I wondered why he doesn’t want to go on that day.  But after some persuasion, he finally relented.

Almost finishing, he started to cry and I asked him why he did not answer.  After we left the shop then he pointed to his head.  He has few cuts at the hairline at the back of his head.

Hmmz, it made me wonder why he doesn’t want to go in initially.  Maybe the skills of the hairdresser was bad.  That was the first time I brought him there but he has been there for several times with my mum.

Hiya…why take so long?
