Something special for this year’s lantern festival. I bought handmade lantern for the kids. It’s easy to assemble but it’s too small to light the candle.

Butterfly for Shermaine

Lion for Jayden

Dinosaur for Javier…looks like a crocodile to me
I’ve been looking at red ’polka dots’ for 3 weeks plus. Javier has passed the chicky virus to Shermaine and Jayden. Both of them got infected one day after another.
The first 4-5 days were very tedious for us especially during the night. Jayden would woke up crying and scratching all over. There’s once he was awoke for 3 hours and I can’t sleep though I very much wanted to. I scratched for him, applied lotion for him and made milk for him. The next day I went to work with a sleepy look.
The worst is over now. Another 7 days, they will fully recover. Not sure if both are ‘deadly’ enough to pass me the virus. Shall wait and see….
A little trip to IMM on 16/7/09, Saturday. The kids loved to play at the Garden Plaza and I wanted to do some shopping. So IMM was the best choice.

“Please jie jie, bring me back to mummy.”

“Mummy, help me!!!”

“Don’t make me go again”.

”Mummy, have you done? Get me out of here.”

“ Oh! I love this. It’s fun”.

“Look at me, mummy. I’m getting taller”.
I was pushing the trolley when I heard other customers pointing and said so cute. Only after awhile, Shermaine told me that Jayden had fell asleep. Then I quickly took my camera to take some shots. Shermaine said that I was so cruel busy taking photo than carry him. As the pictures were blur, I kept taking and taking until a point that Shermaine said “mum, can you please stop taking. Jayden is uncomfortable”. Wow, my girl was so sensible.

My mum and me brought the kids to JB to stay a night on 11 Apr. It was a last minute arrangement as my hubby was not working the next day.
Since it was a public holiday on Friday, it was not so packed at the custom but still abit of jam of course.
We went for our dinner before we checked in the hotel. After unpacking and showering, we went for supper just outside the hotel. Jayden was very cranky as he was feeling sleepy. Although he seldom see his dad, he still allowed his daddy to carry while I was eating. Those neighbours and aunties whom see him everyday, can’t even touch his hand. Ironic rite? After supper, all of us went back to sleep. Luckily all my kids have no problem ‘sleeping’ outside other than home.
The next morning, we went for dim sum. The porridge was very delicious. Jayden can finished a bowl by himself. Not very big bowl actually. We ordered quite a few dishes but Shermaine and Javier as usual, only ate lotus paste bun. I think Jayden ate more than them.
After our breakfast, we went back to the hotel to get ready for our shopping at Jusco. Shermaine has always wanted a name band for her handphone. It was a bit cheaper at JB compared to Singapore.
After shopping, we went to pray. It was about half hour drive from Jusco. The temple was situated up the hill and we had to walk abit from the parking lot. Luckily it was windy though quite hot sun. Nevertheless, the kids enjoyed touring the place.
Before we headed back to Singapore, we went for late lunch and thereafter to Danga World, a place where kids will definitely love it. It’s a fun land with kiddy rides. The kids only took the merry-go-round and plane rides as it was getting late. They left the place reluctantly. When their dad promised to bring them some other time, their face brighten up immediately. That’s my kids!!

Ready to take off…

My Dad and I brought the 3 kids for swimming on Good Friday. At first, Jayden was terrified when I put him in the water. Of course, there was a float to support him but I guess the water was abit cold for him.
After splashing water on him and pushing him around the pool, he got used of the water temperature and started to kick and move around. He also happily splashing the water.
Although it’s only an hour or so, the kids enjoyed very much. After the swim, we went to West Mall to grab some food before we headed home.

I’ve brought Shermaine and Javier to Science Centre after our meal at Orchard this morning. A treat from my brother-in-law again.
My brother and his wife joined us shortly and after the meal, they sent us to Science Centre. My intention was to do some work at the office. At the same time, to bring the kids to watch show at the Omni Theatre. The Sea Monster, a nice show which I’ve watched so far.
Before the show, I’ve brought the kids to play a while at the Water Works for half an hour and after the show we went to our office and I started to work abit.
My colleagues from the Finance were also there. Not surprising as they need to do financial year closing, same as me but theirs were more tedious than mine. If the figures does not tally, they gotta do all over again. They have been working OT for the past 2 weeks and last nite, they even stayed up to 12 midnite. Tomorrow they gotta go back to work again or else, there will be a group of people chasing after them if they din finish their work.
As for me, I couldn’t possibly finish today as it’s quite a big load as well and I’ve only got a pair of hands but I’m trying my very best to settle at least the urgent ones. Although it’s a non-working day, I was still distracted. Not by my colleagues but my 2 little imps. Until I warned them not to disturb me if they want to have dinner soon.
Quite a fulfiiling day for me, at least I’ve cleared some work and most of all, spend some time with the elder two.
It was Jayden’s first visit to Sentosa and also it’s the first time I brought all 3 kids out alone. Javier has been bugging me to bring him for a cable car ride and since I managed to get the ASA card, we visited the Underwater World as well.
I explained to the kids that since Jayden is going, we might not visit all the places as it is quite tiring for me to carry him around. I only sling him around and this little fellow made hell lot of noise and no choice I gotta carry him instead.
We took Sentosa Express to Imbiah Station and from there we took the ‘red line’ bus at Merlion Station to Underwater World.
After that, we took cable car to Mt Faber and back to the cable car tower. Although the kids only get to see the marine animals, they still enjoyed.
As usual, shopping is a must after Sentosa. So from the cable tower, we walked to Vivo City. We took some finger food as the kids complained that they were hungry. Not forgetting Shermaine’s favourite, the Beard Papa cream puff. The kids had their fill while I’m doing my shopping in the supermarket.
After payment, we went to buy another Shermaine’s ‘must have’ whenever we pass by the shop. The Pure Chocolate from Coffee Bean.
We took a cab home to end the day’s trip. It was a tiring trip and we fell asleep during the journey home.
